But for real,

I spent 20 long years climbing up the corporate ladder to achieve dream I was sold. I compartmentalized every facet of my life until I was just a shell of a person reaching for commercial success. In 2023, when I stopped shrinking, stopped faking, and started speaking my truth, my world as I knew it broke, and I relied on my gut, my internal compass, and my collective community to keep me going. What I found on the other side of this traumatic and transformative year was the power of healing and moving forward with real purpose. I know I can guide individuals and companies towards the same. We just need to show up radically to shift the status quo.

I am so lucky that two amazing children call me Amma, and I have a wonderful husband to share my hopes and dreams with. My parents immigrated to the United States in the late 1970s, and I was born in Chicago, as a first-gen US Citizen and first-gen college grad. I am Malayalee American, and I have an immense, deeply rooted, spiritual connection to Kerala, my native land. I am here to break the cycle of my own generational, ancestral trauma as well as current societal systems.

Listen up,

Systems in corporate America and across the world were not built inclusively. I have directly witnessed the impact of this - and I use my superpower as an empath and activist to bring historically excluded, racialized, marginalized, and stigmatized people along with me. With a stellar finance and strategy background, growth mindset focused on continuous learning, I acknowledge my own privilege, and am spending my life in pursuit of a more just world.

Behind the Name

In Pursuit Collective

I realized that I was in this eternal pursuit, chasing something, as many of us often do. And I kept coming up empty. After chasing corporate success and being hit with a wave of reality that I am not welcome there, I realized there was something bigger in store for me. We are all in pursuit of something, and my hope is to help others figure out what their individual pursuit is, and how that can create meaning and impact in the world. We need to honor our individuality and also honor the collective.

Liberate your purpose

My purpose on earth is to create a ripple in the system that does not work for racialized, oppressed, and marginalized folks. When we join forces, the ripple creates a wave and ultimately a sea change. Unfortunately, so many people actually don't want to liberate, they are so fearful of what is on the other side. I help individuals and companies liberate their true purpose.

Our Mission

Ignite a movement for bodies of culture to thrive and prosper, through coaching, collaborating, and storytelling.

Our Vision

Reimagine systems for work and life that are sustainable, equitable, and deliberately antiracist, that cause less harm to all.

Why Work With Me

  • I spent 20 years as an award-winning finance and corporate strategy executive and the last 2 years have activated me to be the change I want to see.

  • I have experienced workplace trauma and the after affects.

  • I have had the inside view of the C-suite and board room.

  • I selectively work with a small number of clients that are serious about growth and transformation.

  • I use a racial trauma informed lens in my coaching.

  • I am antiracist, I uphold boundaries, and I believe in collective liberation.

Our Values

  • Growth means understanding that things are not always binary, that there is beauty and deep meaning in nuance. At In Pursuit Collective, we know that gender is expansive, cross-racial solidarity is complicated yet necessary, and discomfort leads to growth and change.

  • We believe in having an abundance of the things that bring joy and stability. Financial security is important in our current system, and we are unapologetic about striving for purposeful wealth, for ourselves, our communities and all underrepresented folks.

  • Boundaries are necessary, especially for those that are feeling the effects of oppression and systems that were not built for us. At In Pursuit Collective, time is a boundary that is protected; whether it is time for family, for rest, or for an active and full life. Being busy is not our flex. These are cornerstones for the work we set out to do.

  • Collective liberation acknowledges the existence of various oppressions and emphasizes working together to dismantle them within ourselves, our families, communities, and institutions. This is done to create a genuinely free world. We join forces because we understand that everyone has a stake in eradicating white supremacy and related oppressive systems. We honor the diverse experiences, traditions, cultures, intellect, and voices of the global majority.

“We are powerful because we have survived, and that is what it is all about—survival and growth.”
—Audre Lorde
